The other day I was playing around with some makeup, and this purple half cut crease was the result. Scroll down a bit and I'll show you how I did it.
As a first step, I’ve applied my regular primer (painterly paint pot) and set it with a translucent powder. Next, I took a plum colored blush on a big fluffy brush and blended it in and slightly above my crease. Then I took a small blending brush and blended a more purple shade just in my crease and the outer half of my eyelid. I took my time to build up the intensity of the color.
After that, I grabbed my glitter primer and a small brush and carved out the inner part of my eye. I was working on one eye at the time so my glue remained tacky for long enough. I made sure that there are no harsh lines and let my glue fade into the eyeshadow. Then I took a flat shader brush and packed a light glittery purple shade on top of it. On another flat shader brush, I applied some more of the purple shade on the outer corner of the eye. Later I deepened it up with a little bit of black eyeshadow on a small blending brush. Just keep blending till it looks nice without any additional product. I also alternated between tapping some shimmery and some matte purple shade in the middle of my lid so I get a nice gradient finish there.
Because of the glitter glue, the top of the glittery eyeshadow was too obvious I decided to turn it into half a cut crease and carefully added some glittery eyeliner to the inner part of my eye at the crease area. Hopefully, that makes sense, but you can see it in the picture anyway. I also blended out some of the blush I mentioned earlier on my lower lashline. Some liner and mascara and I was almost done. To make the look a bit sassier I added some iridescent glitter with some purple hue to the inner corners some highlight under my brows.
This look could easily carry some false lashes, but I rarely wear those at work. I also kept the rest of my makeup quite simple.
