Some days you just want to look like you've actually put some effort in your makeup when in reality it only took you about 10 minutes? This is one of those looks.

I’ve started with my eyes just in case there’s any fallout from the glittery shadow. First I’ve used an eyeshadow base, as I always do, which was painterly by MAC. I’ve set it with a neutral shadow from one of my palettes, this makes it easier, later on, to blend out the crease shade. I’ve blended a warm brown tone all over my lid also blending it in my crease. You don’t have to do this, but it gives a bit more depth to the shimmery shade we apply later. I’ve used a shade from my 88 colour eyeshadow palette. Now comes the fun bit, applying a shimmery shadow. I’ve used Solstice by Urban Decay. It’s one of their moondust shadows, all of them work beautifully as toppers if you would prefer another shade. To add a little definition to my lashline I’ve applied a fine line using a dark brown shadow (the shade sleek from the Nude’Tude palette by the Balm). I went for dark brown instead of black because I wanted a slightly softer look. I’ve also added a little shimmer to my inner corners (I’ve mixed Sassy and Snobby from the Nude’Tude palette). I’ve finished it off with a coat of mascara. I’ve used the False Lash Sculpt by L’Oreal.
I’ve applied my base as usual. For my brows, I used the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in the shade Dark Chocolate together with the Legendary Brows gel by Charlotte Tilbury. As long as you use the gel liner with a light hand it works perfectly and the clear gel just sets the hairs in place.
On my lips, I’m wearing Happily EverAfter by Tanya Burr with a touch of clear lipgloss.

Really easy and quick. What do you think?
Have a lovely day!
