£44 for a bottle of micellar water?! Yes, you've read it right. It's £44 for a simple bottle of micellar water...Insane. I still paid for it. I wandered into Space NK wanting to purchase the Ren Rosa Centifolia cleansing water, but they didn't have it in store. I really needed a bottle of micellar water urgently, and the only other cruelty-free option they had, was the By Terry Cellularose micellar water. I knew it's really expensive, but I only realised it at the till how expensive it truly was...

Was it worth it? You get 150ml in the bottle, so it’s a decent size. The Ren is 100ml in comparison, but it’s also a lot lighter on your purse.

The formula is amazing, it doesn’t sting my eyes or strip my skin from any moisture, it just leaves me with lovely clean skin. It washes of every sort of makeup without any problems. It also smells slightly like roses. While I love it, I still don’t think you should splurge on this. Put the extra cash towards a moisturizer or some face masks. Those products can really make a difference. It’s important to cleanse your face, but you can find other micellar waters and several similar products for the fraction of the price.

The packaging is truly beautiful and it comes in a fancy box, but I just can’t justify spending so much money on a product like this on a regular basis. If one day I have the extra cash and I want to treat myself I can maybe, MAYBE get this.

What do you think? Would you pay such a big amount of money for a bottle of micellar water? Let me know what your favourite face cleanser is.

Have a lovely day!
