I love a colourful makeup look, let that pop of colour be on the eyes, lips or cheeks. A couple of days ago I've created this burnt orange look with a bit of yellow to brighten it up. Keep on reading if you want to know how I've achieved it.

I like to start with my eye makeup, so first I primed my eyelid with the shade Kesi from the Magic mini palette by Juvia’s place. It gave a good base to the rest of the shadows I applied and also cancelled out any darkness I had on my lids. Then I went in with Nana from the same palette and applied it in and above my crease, making sure I blend it out to leave it with a nice soft finish. To deepen it and give it that burnt orange tint I applied Zakiya with a smaller brush right in the crease and in the outer corner. This is a really easy eye look, but it requires plenty of blending. To make sure the yellow in the inner corner will pop, I’ve applied a creamy yellow base, gradually fading it out. For this, I’ve used an Illamasqua sketch stick in the shade Higher. Then I’ve applied the yellow shade from the Huda beauty Electric obsessions palette on top. Without applying any more eyeshadow onto the fluffy brush I’ve used to deepen my crease, I use it again to lightly blend the yellow and my outer corner together. To deepen in furthermore I take a small blending brush and apply a deep brown in the outer v. In this case, I reached for the shade Sleek from the Balm Nude’tude palette. To add a smokey effect, I’ve applied the black Makeup Forever aqua liner to my upper and lower waterline. I’ve also drawn a small flick with my brown Bobbi Brown pot liner, added some Too Faced Better than sex mascara and the eyes were almost done. All I had left to do was the lower lashline. I’ve used the shade Zakiya close to my lower lashline and blended it out with Nana to soften it. In my inner corner, I’ve used the yellow portion of my Essence prismatic rainbow glow highlighter, the same on the browbones. That’s it with the eyes.

The rest of the look was really simple and quick. I’ve applied my Ordinary High-spreadability fluid primer in my T-zone as a base and blended in the Avon Ideal shade makeup base over it. I’ve used the Catrice liquid camouflage concealer under my eyes, and wherever it was needed and set it all with my Ben Nye Neutral set powder. To give my face dimension I’ve applied some of the Bare Minerals Invisible tan bronzer in the shade Tan. I wonder if they changed the names though, as on the website they have now different names. Hopefully, the formula is still the same, it’s a beautiful product. On top, I’ve applied the aforementioned Essence highlighter.
For my brows, I’ve only used two products, the Revitalash tinted brow gel and the shade Sleek from the Nude’tude palette.
For my lips, I’ve used two products as well. I’ve applied the Charlotte Tilbury lip cheat liner in Foxy brown as a base and went over it with a layer of 1993 by Urban Decay. I have their liner in the same shade as well, but Foxy Brown gave the lipstick a bit more of a cooler tone.

What do you think? What sort of look is your favourite?
Have a lovely day!
