I love a good statement eye. I haven't used green in a while and I got inspired as I opened my Mini magic palette by Juvia's place. After a bit of rummaging around in my drawers, I had a full look in my head. Keep on reading to see what I came up with.

As always, I’ve started the look with my eyes and priming them with the Eden primer potion. I’ve set it with the shade Kesi from the Mini magic palette. Since I knew I wanted green on the lids I decided to use a yellow shade in the crease to compliment it. I chose the shade 258 by Kiko which is part of their Infinity shadow collection. Unfortunately, they since discontinued these shadows, but I am fairly sure they smart shadows are the same. Anyway, 258 is a lovely bright yellow shade that blended perfectly in my crease. Before returning to my Juvia’s place palette I’ve reached for another Kiko shadow, this time 270, a lovely satin olive shade and I’ve laid it down all over my lid. Then I’ve patted Buzo, that amazing emerald green on the middle of my lid. To darken the inner corner slightly I blended out a touch of Aja, really just concentrating it on the outer v. To brighten my inner corner I applied Nubia, which I think really tied in the look after we used a yellow shade in the crease.

To give my eyes even more definition I ran the Charlotte Tilbury Rock n’ Kohl liner in the shade black magic (limited edition) along my top and bottom lashline.

I’ve coated my lashes with the Too Faced Better than sex mascara and applied the Linda Halberg happy mood crayon in my waterline. It’s such a beautiful long-lasting shade.

The rest of my look was really easy.

To give myself a luminous base I’ve smoothed the Mac strobe cream all over my face. To keep my t-zone smooth I’ve applied the blurring primer by Cover Fx concentrating around my nose area. Since I had a lovely pimple friend popping up I had to use my green color correcting fluid by Urban Decay to counteract the redness. There was nothing I could do about the bump but at least I could cancel out the redness. My foundation choice that day was the Charlotte Tilbury light wonder foundation and I’ve used it together with my Catrice liquid camouflage concealer. I’ve set it all with the Bare Minerals Glow brilliant powder.

To lightly bronze my skin I’ve reached for my Physicians formula Glow& mood-boosting powder in the shade light bronzer. If anyone knows where to get Physicians formula in the UK please let me know.

To compliment it with a glow I’ve applied the Moonstone highlighter by Becca on the high points of my cheek.

On my brows, I’ve used a Revitalash tinted brow gel to set the hairs in place and filled them in with the Illamasqua Thunder eyebrow cake.

As the last step, I’ve applied the Too Faced melted chihuahua liquid lipstick and I was done.

What do you think? Do you like to wear green or any other color on your eyes?

Have a lovely day!
