If you follow my blog you know I'm doing a Project 10 pan this year. I have way too much makeup and they deserve some love instead of just expanding. I feel like I am up to a good start.

To recap, I started to use these products at the beginning of January and I plan to finish on the 9th of July.

I also decided to have different goals for different products as it is probably not realistic to use up every single thing I choose to pan. I feel great about these changes, and without further ado, let’s see what I will attempt to pan this time around.

  1. MAC Strobe cream
  2. Benefit Hoola Bronzer
  3. Benefit Bellabamba blush
  4. Benefit Brow zings ‘medium’
  5. Urban Decay Foxy eyeshadow
  6. Urban Decay double sided eyeliner
  7. Urban Decay primer potion in Eden
  8. MAC Ririwoo lipstick
  9. Salt of the Earth natural deodorant
  10. Becca shimmering skin perfector mini in Opal

So let’s go in order.

As you can see on the pictures as well, I barely have anything left in my Mac Strobe cream and I am fairly confident this will be gone by my next update. I use this every single time I do my makeup under my foundation. It acts beautifully as an illuminating primer.

As you can see the Hoola bronzer looks quite a bit different from last time. It got quite hard to get some product on my brush as all the powder I have left was on the outer rim of the pan, so I decided to repress it. This way it’s hard to see if there is any progress, but I use this almost every time I do my makeup, so I am fairly positive we will see more progress next time.

The Bellabamba blush will be a slow progress, just like I thought. There is a  small dent in it, but it is barely noticeable. It’s a beautiful pink shade with some satin shine running through it. Bellabamba is really similar to Nars Orgasm. Hopefully, I’ll have a pan to show by the end of the project, but we’ll see. Blushes are not easy to use up.

Another product I had to repress was the Urban Decay Foxy eyeshadow. It was getting really hard to get any product out. I like to go in with a big fluffy brush, so I can set my eyeshadow primer and I couldn’t really do it anymore without repressing it. Again, same as with the bronzer, it will be easier to see progress next time.

As you can see the Benefit browzings are a half success. I’ve managed to hit pan on the wax side, but the powder will take a lot longer. It is a really firmly pressed powder and you only need a little each time. I am not sure I will be able to show pan by the end of this project, but I am happy to get some use out of this product. Sometimes I feel like it is a bit too warm, on those days I just usually go over it with a cooler toned eyebrow gel. If I would buy it again I would go for the dark shade instead of medium.

Next up we have two more Urban Decay products.

The double-ended liner will no doubt be finished by the summer. The black side, Perversion I didn’t even use once. As I went ahead to sharpen it before use it completely broke. I think it’s because I got to the end of the liner. The other side, Pistol is almost done as well. As you can see I made good progress on it. I love using it smoked out on my lower lashline. That way it looks a bit darker than using it as a full on liner on my top lashline or in the water line.

The last UD product in this project is the Eden primer potion. I might have misjudged this product. My original goal was to use up half of what’s left, but at this rate, I might be able to finish up the whole thing till July. I am hopeful. I use this every time I do my makeup. It does a perfect job at keeping my eye looks intact till the end of the day. As you can see I barely have anything left. Don’t get me wrong, it is still quite a bit, you don’t need a lot, but I think it’s doable.

The Riri Woo lipstick is another slow but steady product at this point. You’ll see on the markings that there is progress, but it is really really slow. You only need the smallest of product and it is quite long lasting. I discovered as well, that I can use it as a blush. It is really pigmented, so first I apply a bit of the lipstick on the back of my hand, then I take a stippling brush and tap it just ever so slightly in the lipstick than on my cheeks. This way I can get a nice natural flush, without having a red splotchy cheek. I’ll try to use it a bit more this way under my Benefit blush. This way my blush might be more long lasting and I can get more use out of my lipstick. It’s a win-win.

The last makeup item is the Becca Opal shimmering skin perfector highlighter. It is a mini that I used previously so I was sure I can reach my goal of hitting pan on this. I didn’t anticipate it to happen so early though. Since I already reached my goal on this I decided to swap it with the oldest highlighter in my collection. The Balm Mary Lou Manizer. As you can see it is pretty used, but I would like to use it up fully and get it out of my collection before it is going bad. I am under no illusion, I know it won’t all go before the summer. But I could make a significant dip. It had to be repressed, as it fell from my table and shattered to pieces. I had a dip in it  before it was repressed as well. Let’s see how far I can take this.

The last item is the only non-makeup related product on my list. It is the Salt of Earth natural deodorant. I was on the hunt for a natural cruelty-free deodorant when I stumbled upon this in a natural health shop and it ticks both of those boxes. It is also vegan, just in case you were wondering. It’s a crystal deodorant and you have to use it on wet skin or wet the crystal otherwise it won’t glide on the skin. I find it effective, I really like it. I have to keep it by the sink in the bathroom since I have to use it wet, which is new for me, but it’s nothing undoable. As you can see I made some progress, but even with daily use, it is rather slow. I am happy anyway that I am using this instead of letting it go to waste. It is also a healthy, aluminum-free option to keep me fresh. Hopefully, I can keep up the steady progress.

Are you doing any project pans this year?

Have a lovely day!
