In order to utilize and rotate around my makeup stash a bit more, I decided to do a series of lipstick bingo on my blog. What is lipstick bingo I hear you ask?

I wrote a numbered list of some of my bolder or unloved lipsticks and then generated some random numbers with the help of Google. To start with I generated ten numbers, so for the next ten weeks every Friday you’ll get a look that I came up with inspired by the lipsticks. I had 47 products to start with (yes I know, it’s a high number, especially knowing it’s not all of them), so I might do more of these, once the ten weeks are up, we’ll see.

I’ve got the idea from Rebecca Morgan on Youtube. She has done several lipstick bingos in the past, where she randomly chooses a bold lipstick and then creates a makeup look around it.

Even though I am doing a project 10 pan this year, I wanted to find another way to use my beautiful collection a bit more, so here we are.

As I mentioned above, I choose ten lipstick to start with, so let me share with you what they are.

  1. Revlon HD lipstick in the shade Hydrangea
  2. Tanya Burr Happily Ever After lipstick
  3. Rimmel Kate lipstick shade 20
  4. Milani color statement moisture matte lipstick in the shade Matte glam
  5. Nyx liquid suede cream lipstick in the shade Stone fox
  6. Becca x Khloé Kardashian ultimate lipstick love in Hot tamale
  7. Revlon lip butter in Sorbet
  8. Milani Amore matte metallic lip creme in the shade Matte about you
  9. Estée Lauder lipstick in Restless
  10. Topshop lipstick in the shade Nevada

That’s the curated list in this first round.

From now on I will post a look with these lipsticks every single Friday in the order you see above, one lipstick a time.

I’m really excited to get more use out of these shades and to challenge my creativity in a new way. The lip options are usually the last thing that I think about when I imagine a look in my head, so it will be interesting to go through the process the other way around.

As you can see, some of these products are really similar in color. That is okay, I can still create different looks around it. I have a couple of pinks. The brightest of them all is my Rimmel Kate lipstick, that is a really bright Barbie pink. Then we have the Revlon lip butter, that is still really bright pink, but shinier and slightly less opaque. The Milani lip cream is a bit more orange and has a metallic finish, while the Revlon HD lipstick is more on the pinky-red side.

The only two shades that are exactly the same are the Estée Lauder lipstick, that was, funnily enough, a collaboration with Kendall Jenner and the Becca Hot tamale lipstick, that is in collaboration with Khloe Kardashian. That family for sure likes a good orangey red… They are both beautiful, I feel like the only difference is in the finish, but it’s hardly noticeable. The Becca lipstick has a bit more of a sheen to it, as it’s a hydrating lipstick, while the Estée Lauder one is matte.

What do you think of the idea? Also please comment your favorite lipsticks down below. (As if I need more…)

Have a lovely day!
