To kick off the series we have a pinky-red shade, the Revlon HD lipstick in the shade Hydrangea. I envisioned a monochromatic look with this product. I rarely have reds on my eyes, but I thought it would compliment this lipstick perfectly.

As usual, I have started with my eyes and primed it with the classic Eden primer potion and set it with the eyeshadow Foxy.

To build up the intensity in my crease I’ve reached for one of my favorite palettes, the mini magic palette by Juvia’s place. I’ve started with Nana on a big fluffy brush above my crease and then blended some of Zakiya in my crease with a smaller blending brush. To make them even warmer I lightly blended some of the red shade, Kogi over both of them. Now we arrived to the stars of the show in my eyes. First I’ve applied a Wycon eyeshadow in the shade no. 39 all over the lid and then to make it more intense I’ve patted the Illamasqua pure pigment Berber on top of it. I smudged the same Wycon shadow along my bottom lashline. To deepen the outer corner I’ve reached for my Illamasqua multi-facet palette and added the smallest touch of Machine, the black eyeshadow to the outer corner.

To keep with the monochrome theme I’ve applied a baby wing with the Inglot 79 AMC eyeliner-gel. I’ve also applied this on my waterline and on my bottom lashes. I wanted to keep the focus on the red shade on my eyes and I felt like black mascara on the bottom lashes would’ve made the look darker.

On my top lashes, however, I applied a layer or two of Perversion.

The rest of the look was quite easy.

I started with priming my face with the Mac Strobe cream before going in with my Becca aqua luminous perfecting foundation and Catrice liquid camouflage concealer.

Before setting it all I’ve used my Charlotte Tilbury beach stick in the shade Ibiza to bronze up my complexion and tapped on a bit of the Aurora cream highlighter from the Illamasqua palette on the high points of my face. To set it all I’ve used the lightest shade from the Nyx Highlight& contour pro palette and also went over the cream bronzer with lightest tan shade to bronze up the face a bit more.

I’ve skipped blush and went in straight with my Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter by the Balm.

On my brows, I’ve only used two products. The Revitalash tinted brow gel to set the hairs in place, and the Illamasqua Thunder eyebrow cake from the same palette I’ve used earlier.

Last but not least, we finally arrived at the main part of this look, the lips. I’ve lightly lined my lips with the Nyx slide on lip pencil in the shade brick house and then moved on to the main focus, the Revlon HD lipstick in the shade Hydrangea. I felt the need for the lip liner not only because I think it always benefits a red lip, but also because I wanted to bring out the red in the lipstick rather than the pink tones.
