Another Friday, another lipstick bingo. This weeks contestant is the Milani color statement moisture matte lipstick in the shade Matte glam. Oh yes, this week we are going for a purple look.

It seems like lately, I am into quite monochromatic looks, and here is another example of that love.

Purple lips and purple eyes, they compliment each other perfectly in my eyes.

Onto the look, as usual, I have started with my eyes. Can you guess what eyeshadow primer I went for? Yes, you guessed it right, it was the Eden primer potion followed by the Foxy eyeshadow to set, both by Urban Decay.

I’m not gonna lie, this eye look is not my favorite. I’ve used a combination of the Max Factor Smokey eye drama kit in Luxe Lilacs and the Nyx Prismatic shadow in Punk Heart. It all looked nice with the Max Factor kit until I decided to deepen it with the Nyx prismatic shadow. It just all became a bit dull. Of course, I could’ve redone it and post the new version, but I think it’s good to show the bad days. When our makeup just doesn’t work out. Because we all have those days, and it’s ok.

To move away from the mess, but still keep in with the purple theme, I’ve also used a beautiful metallic liner from Kiko, the Graphic ritual liner that I am pretty sure was a limited edition. To finish it off I applied a coating of my favorite mascara, the Too Faced  Better than sex mascara.

Moving on to the complexion.

I have reached for a foundation, that I haven’t used in a really long time. The Maybelline Matte Mousse did a good job at covering, but it is not my favorite formula, it is a bit too thick. It got the job done for the day though. To brighten under the eyes I’ve applied some of the Catrice liquid camouflage concealer.  I wanted to stay fairly neutral on the cheeks since both the eyes and the lips were colorful, so I went ahead and applied a hint of blush with the Illamasqua cream blush in the shade Zygomatic. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it on the website. It was one of their iconic shades, a stunning neutral that goes with everything, so I don’t think they would discontinue it… Does anyone know what happened to it?

To set everything in place I’ve lightly dusted over a little bit of the glowy powder from the Bare Minerals translucent powder duo. (Again, did they discontinue this?)

To add a hint more color to my cheeks I’ve applied the Benefit Dandelion blush as well.

To shape my brows I’ve filled them in with the Illamasqua Thunder eyebrow cake and set them in place with the Wet n wild mega clear mascara.

To highlight I have used one of my favorites, the Becca shimmering skin perfector in the shade Moonstone.

Finally, we’ve arrived at the lips. First I’ve lined with the Kiko smart colour lip liner in the shade 711 (since discontinued) then went in with the Milani moisture matte lipstick in Matte Glam.

Phew, this seemed like a long one.

What do you think? Which one is your favorite look so far in the lipstick bingo series? If you would like to see my previous creations I’ll link them here so you can have a look.

Have a lovely day!
