If you follow my blog you know I'm doing a Project 10 pan this year. I have way too much makeup and they deserve some love instead of just expanding. I feel like I am making steady progress.

To recap, I started to use these products at the beginning of January and I plan to finish on the 9th of July.

I also decided to have different goals for different products as it is probably not realistic to use up every single thing I choose to pan. I feel great about these changes, and without further ado, let’s see what I will attempt to pan this time around.

  1. MAC Strobe cream
  2. Benefit Hoola Bronzer
  3. Benefit Bellabamba blush
  4. Benefit Brow zings ‘medium’
  5. Urban Decay Foxy eyeshadow
  6. Urban Decay double sided eyeliner
  7. Urban Decay primer potion in Eden
  8. MAC Ririwoo lipstick
  9. Salt of the Earth natural deodorant
  10. Becca shimmering skin perfector mini in Opal
  11. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer luminizer
  12. Urban Decay Naked basics (WOS)
  13. Becca shimmering skin perfector Opal

So let’s go in order once again.

Finally, my Mac strobe cream is gone. It was only a travel size, so I knew I can definitely finish it by the end of this project. It was a nice illuminating primer, that left my skin feeling hydrated with a nice glow. I have mainly used it under my foundations to give me a radiant finish. Although it was a nice product to use, Mac is not cruelty-free, so I am happy to get this out of my collection and rotate in something new.

Another product I have managed to completely use up is the Foxy eyeshadow from Urban Decay. This was depotted from my Naked 2 palette, and I am trying to make a slow, but steady progress of going through every shadow from there. There is not much left to say about Foxy, it was just a skin colored shadow, I have mainly used it to set my eyeshadow primer. I would gladly repurchase it as a single if I had no other neutral shadows. Maybe in the future. For now, I have many more to go through.

As you can see I was quite successful with the Hoola bronzer. It is not gone yet, but hopefully, I’ll get there by the next update.  I use this almost every day when I do my makeup, and honestly, I am getting a bit bored. I will push through though, as there is so little left.

The Bellabamba blush is slow progress, but there is already a really significant dip in it. Hopefully, I will be able to hit pan by the next update, but I am not too sure. It’s a beautiful pink shade with some satin shine running through it. Blushes are not easy to use up and this project is sure a good testament to that.

The Benefit browzings are still an only half success. I’ve managed to expand the pan on the wax side slightly and I made a huge dip on the powder side. It is a really firmly pressed powder and you only need a little each time. Every day I hope I see pan, but it just doesn’t seem to happen. I can’t be too far away though, I am sure I’ll get there by the next update. Next month I would like to shift my focus back on the wax side as well, as this month I mostly used the powder in combination with some brow gels rather than the wax.

Next up we have two more Urban Decay products.

The double-ended liner will no doubt be finished by the summer. Pistol is almost done. There is only the tiniest nib left. I mostly use it to smoke out on my lower lashline. Hopefully, this will be gone by the next update as well.

The next UD product in this project is the Eden primer potion. I use this every time I do my makeup, and I got to the point where it’s getting hard to squeeze out any product. It does a perfect job at keeping my eye looks intact till the end of the day. As you can see I barely have anything left. I am getting really hopeful that this will go rather sooner than later. I will throw a party once it’s gone, it takes ages…

The Riri Woo lipstick was a bit of a fail this month. I couldn’t even draw a new marking, it seems like I haven’t used it even though I did.  You only need the smallest of product and it is quite long lasting. Maybe I should use it more often as a blush, just so I can make better progress. It is a bit frustrating, it feels like I use it so often, and still, there is no visible progress…

The last update I have rolled in the Balm Mary Lou Manizer. It was well loved before, but I have managed to expand the pan slightly. I know I won’t be able to finish it up till the summer, but I would like to keep it in till the end of the project and see how much progress I can make on this.

The last item is the only non-makeup related product on my list. It is the Salt of Earth natural deodorant. It’s a crystal deodorant and you have to use it on wet skin or wet the crystal otherwise it won’t glide on the skin. Unfortunately, just like with the lipstick, I couldn’t mark any progress with this item either. I just got a bit lazy and went back to my conventional deodorant a lot this past month. I will try to work harder on it next month.

Because I have finished two products I will roll in another two this month.

The first item I am adding to the project this time is my Naked basics palette by Urban Decay. This is one of the first (if not the first) high-end palette I have ever purchased about 5 years ago. It is definitely well loved, and I would like to use up the shade WOS. I am pretty sure it will be gone by the next update, there is barely anything in there. It’ll be a great substitute for Foxy.

The second item is a mini of the Becca liquid shimmering skin perfector in Opal. I can use it the same way I used the strobe cream or even over foundation. There is not much left in this, it is only a small size that came as part of a kit. If it won’t be gone by the next update it will surely be done by the one after that.

Are you doing any project pans this year? How are you getting on with it?
