Here we go, another Friday, another lipstick bingo. This weeks focus is the Nyx liquid suede lipstick in the shade Stone fox. Oh yes, this week we are going dark and bold. This look is definitely my favorite so far!

As usual, I have started with my eyes. With a really dark, smokey eye look like this, it is a lot easier to start with the eyes, as I can just easily wipe away any fallout without ruining my base.

I have primed with my trusty old friend, the Urban Decay Eden primer potion and set it with the beige color from the Morphe 35B palette. I’ve used the same palette for the green shades in my crease. I’ve started with a light green in and above my crease and blended a deeper green right in my crease to darken it up. Then I went ahead and with a flat brush, I have patted the black shade all over my lid. At this point, the look was still a bit rough, so I pulled in another palette. The Too Faced Pretty rich palette. To deepen the black shade furthermore, I added Coal under pressure (the black sparkly shadow) on top of the black Morphe shadow. To bridge the huge difference between the green and the black shades I have also blended Oh that’s rich (burgundy) right under my crease and Fancy that (light brown) in my crease, to get a seamless blend between the green and the black shadows.

To break up all the black and tie in with the green crease I added a UV green liner next. This gave a whole new spin to the look. It took about 2-3 layers to get this intensity, but the Stargazer neon green liquid liner definitely performed well. Once it sets, it doesn’t budge…

Since it is a smokey eye, I couldn’t leave my lower lashline untouched, so I’ve smudged some of the black Morphe shadow there and blended it out furthermore with the burgundy shade ((Oh, that’s rich) from the Pretty rich palette.

I knew I want false lashes with this look, so I also applied a really thin black line with the Nyx epic black mousse liner, staying as close to my lashline as possible. This gave a better base to the Eylure (No 117 texture) lashes I’ve applied. To mash my lashes together with the falsies and also on my bottom lashline I’ve used a coating of the Urban Decay Perversion mascara.

I’ve also applied the black Make Up Forever aqua liner to my waterline, but it looks like it disappeared by the time I finished my makeup and took a picture. Clearly, it is not too long lasting.

Moving on to the complexion.

To prime my face I have started with the Smashbox photo finish smooth & blur primer and applied my Becca skin love foundation. To brighten under the eyes I’ve applied some of the Catrice liquid camouflage concealer.

I wanted to stay fairly neutral on the cheeks since the rest of the look is so bold. To set my face and lightly contour I used the Nyx highlight and contour pro palette. All I needed was a highlighter and my base makeup was done. Since it was a bold makeup I figured this is the perfect time to use a slightly green highlight, and I opted for my Revolution beauty Unicorn’s Heart Rainbow highlighter. I’ve used a small highlighter brush and only dipped it in the green shade and I have to say, I think it went with the look perfectly. A nice icy highlight, that in some lights plays green. If you were wondering, what was I using in the inner corners of my eyes, now you know. It was the same green highlighter.

To shape my brows I’ve filled them in with the Nyx tame & frame brow pomade and set them in place with the Wet n wild mega clear mascara.

Finally, we’ve arrived at the lips. All I have used was the Nyx liquid suede in the shade Stone Fox, the whole focus of today’s look. For a slightly more wearable option, you can always use a nude lipstick as well, as I did in the picture down below. I’ve used a limited edition Mac lipstick called Without your love.

You can always use Stone fox as well just with nude eyes and loads and loads of mascara, maybe a heavy bronze? So many options.

This really is my favorite look out of the whole series so far! I loved wearing it.

What do you think? Which one is your favorite look so far in the lipstick bingo series? If you would like to see my previous creations I’ll link them here so you can have a look.

Have a lovely day!
