In this weeks lipstick bingo, we are taking a really natural direction with a really bold lipstick. This time the inspiration will be the Becca Cosmetics Hot Tamale lipstick. They released this bright orange shade in collaboration with Khloè Kardashian and it is so so stunning.

This week I wanted to create something really simple and natural. Since Hot Tamale is really similar to Restless (from Estèe Lauder) and I created a more fiery look with that lipstick (look out for that makeup in two weeks time) I wanted to take a more casual approach with this one.

Usually, I start with the eyes, but this week I threw away my usual routine and started with the base. Shocking, I know. To prime, I have used the Smashbox Photo Finish Iconic Primer Stick. This primer is great at creating a nice smooth canvas for any foundation to follow, which in this case was the Becca Aqua-luminous perfecting foundation. To conceal I have reached for my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection concealer and then I have highlighted the top of my cheekbones and my cupids bow with the liquid version of the Becca shimmering skin perfector in opal. I wanted to add a light flush of color to my cheeks, and I actually used my lipstick for this as well. I took a fluffy synthetic brush and brushed it over my lipstick for just a touch of color and then blended it on my cheeks. This way I could be sure that the little flush I have will match my lips a 100%. To set it all in place I have used the Nyx HD finishing powder.

To add a bit more shape to my cheeks I added a bit of Hoola bronzer as well from Benefit, just on the perimeters of my face.

My eyes were really really simple. I primed and set it with my concealer and setting powder. Then to give them a touch more definition I used a tiny smudger brush to apply a liner to my upper lashline. I have used a mix of Sleek and Sexy from The Balm Nude’Tude palette. I made sure I really smudged it out. Then I added a coat of mascara with my Too Faced Better than sex mascara and I was done with the eyes. Simple as that.

To shape my brows I’ve filled them in with the shade Sleek from the Balm palette and set them in place with the Wet n wild mega clear mascara.

The lip look was Korean beauty inspired. I added a bit of the lipstick to the middle of my lips and tapped it out with a touch of Carmex. I just kept repeating the same process until I was happy. This way I got a tint like look, that was slightly more pigmented in the center fading out towards the edges of my lip.

Et voilá.

What do you think? Which one is your favorite look so far in the lipstick bingo series? If you would like to see my previous creations I’ll link them here so you can have a look.

Have a lovely day!
