Have you seen the new brand on the block, Soaper Duper?First of all, can we talk about how cute the name is??? Five star just for that. Soaper Duper is more than just a cute name though. They are a new vegan, cruelty-free, clean beauty brand on the drugstore shelves. Clean and affordable? What else can we ask for?I've tested the deluxe shea butter gift set, so you don't have to.

This gift set retails for £10 and I thought it will be a good way to sample what the brand has to offer. It contains a mini body wash and a mini body butter plus a konjac sponge. Currently they offer it in two scents and I’ve opted for the more wintery option, shea butter.

Let me tell you, it smells like some sort of vanilla heaven! But let’s see bit by bit how they performed.

The body butter is on the thicker side in texture, and like all other body butters out there it takes a bit of time to sink into the skin. Once it does it leaves a silky smooth, nourished feel behind. If you are someone, who likes a thick moisturizer or body butter, this one won’t disappoint you.

My personal favourite of the set is the body wash. The scent is heavenly, the formula is nice and light and it leathers up well. If they would make a bubble bath with this fragrance I would be all over it, but sadly this doesn’t make a great bath, it’s just not foamy enough.

The last item in the set is my least favourite, the konjac sponge. The instructions say to  soak it 15 minutes prior the first use, which I did, but I feel like it took a long time before each use for this to soak up the water and expand. It doesn’t particularly help with leathering up the product and dispensing it evenly on the body either and it also started falling apart after a few uses. Now, I might be missing something, I’ve never used a konjac sponge before, but it was a disappointing shower sponge for sure.

What do you think? Have you tried anything from this brand yet? If so, please leave your opinion and recommendations below. Thank you and have a lovely day!
