Bloglovin' & Fresh Starts

Before we talk about what’s ahead, I think we have to mention what went wrong…

Do you ever get the feeling of being giddy with excitement when you start something new? When you feel like you can do anything? That was me…

I had my blog for a while, I just started Youtube, while of course having a job on the side. And while I was learning the ropes of editing videos it all became too much and the blog first took a back seat and then got completely forgotten. For that I am really sorry, I just had way more on my plate than I could chew at the time…

So what’s different now I hear you ask?

Well… first of all, the idea of editing and posting a Youtube video doesn’t give me a heart attack anymore. While I am still far from a pro, I’ve at least learnt the basics, which makes my life a lot easier.

I now also have now some sort of direction for my blog and Youtube channel. I want this space to be an extension of what I do on Youtube. I want to talk about all the things that might not make its way to my channel but is still really relevant to beauty. I want them to go hand in hand, but to not be overly repetitive.

Over the past few months I have also fallen into a comfortable pattern and schedule over on Youtube and now I feel like I can add blogging back into the mix. Can I promise to never miss an upload? Of course not, but I will try my best!

So what’s the plan?

• I post three times a week on Youtube (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays) and I will post once a week on this platform to start with. Might increase that overtime or on weeks when I have the time, but one guaranteed post a week is a good start.
• With a fresh start comes a new design. We are currently working on revamping the blog in the background. It’ll just help to make Szannyside be more userfriendly and of course more aesthetically pleasing.
• As an additional step, I’ve also set up the site on Bloglovin, incase any of you guys still like to keep your subscriptions organised over there.

How does that sound for a start?
